Cool place made out of shipping containers with great food and great service! I have 2 with kids with allergies and the ladies behind the bar were very helpful in letting me know which items I could order for them. I will definitely come back the next time I travel through Oklahoma City.
I was dispointed when i found that the anchor was up rather than down as advertised. This spat of confusion saw us slowly meandor out of our docking into deeper waters. That we had hit no ships while leaving the harbor was a fluke of chaos in a good mood. Alas Lady Chaos was not done with us, an adventure had started and the protagonist and fodder had not yet been decided.
This was our first time to eat here, and it was excellent. The food was prepared to perfection, and the drinks were great!! We'll be back.
I'm not sure how easy it would be to park. We got lucky and parked right outside the door, but parking was up and down the street. There is a parking garage across the street, but it may be for the apartment buildings. This place is extremely small. Its very narrow, but deep. Small bar. Seating is very snug in here. There is room for a family or two, but not much more. Small menu of a few hot dogs, and a few corn dogs. 1 hot dog should feel you up. The meat was huge. The corn dogs were short, and fat. They come with some pretty good chips. They have a pretty large outside area to eat. It was dark in there. This place is just west of the Aloft hotel, easy walk. There was also a dog park right outside too. There were a lot of locals outside, and its in an area with lots of apartments all around. I liked it, fun place to visit. We got the chips and dip, but didn't care for either dip. Wouldn't get those again, plus, it was just more of the same chips that came with the meal.
Anchor down is a small but nice spot to eat at. They have good hot dogs, fries and a few other options. They also have a nice selection of beers and cocktails. Their vegan options are very good. They have vegan corn dogs, vegan fried oreos and some items that are vegan and some that are not, not listed on their menu or website. If you ask, they will let you know if they have any specials not listed.
