Charleston's is an excellent restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious, and their wait staff is excellent. The second my glass was half empty, a new glass was right there for me. Anything I wanted, was brought to me instantly. The food was hot and fresh, but the best part was the desert. Their desserts are enormous, enough to feed a family of four, and absolutely delicious. This is a great restaurant.
I very much enjoyed my meal, wife did not. She and my daughter both got chicken strips and she wasn't pleased, however my daughter lives it. My burger was fantastic and the service was polite and friendly. At 6 pm on fathers day it was quite busy, but was able to be seated after not even waiting 5 mins. Be prepared to spend. It's not a cheap meal. (Family of 4)
You can't beat Charleston's. Every franchise tries its own version of spinach-artichoke dip, but Charleston's shuts them down. This I-240 location is just as good as the one in Norman. Drinks were great, cheeseburger and salad/baked potato combo were both great, and service was great! Even with a waitress in training, they did a really good job. Thanks to Charleston's for being a solid go-to, no matter what.
I ordered the French dip. Since they use prime rib on this sandwich, I know it is served relatively rare. After 1 bite, I realized it was just too rare for my taste. I never complain or send food back but the server noticed I wasn't eating it. He insisted that I let him have it cooked a little longer. The chef brought it back to make sure it was ok. They were both exceptionally nice & the food was wonderful!
I had the prime rib sandwich with raw horseradish with the carrots as a side. Excellent! Jessica did an excellent job of taking care of our alumni group. The restaurant is very noisy at lunch and it's difficult to talk. Better acoustics?
