Such a great little cafe/bistro/pastry & coffee shop! This was one of my favorite spots when I visited OKC recently and will definitely go back every chance I get! The place is squeaky clean, brightly lit, cheerful, and just perfect! Highly recommend the Smoked Benedict!! 10/10!!!
This place is so underrated. The pastries are top notch. We have so many good bakeries in this town, make sure to show Gilded Acorn some love from time to time. I went here on a Saturday (free parking downtown all day) and walked right in and was promptly helped. The pastry case looked like something out of a movie. I got a few pastries to go (vanilla rum cruffin, ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, and apple danish). I was very impressed with everything we ordered. I am excited to go back to try some of their savory options and possibly High Tea!
Really bad first experience. Been waited 10 minutes looking at what we wanted, and no one told us where to order or line.. new customer started his order, I told the cashier that ' I was in line, and the cashier was so mean. I asked some questions about pastries/coffees, but she didn't answer me, it was hurtful. I paid $55 isn't free, minimum respect for your new customers.
UPDATE: After we got our food, (Everything was so good, latte, cappuccino, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, croissant) We talk with a manager (Alex) she was really nice, she gave us some coffee tries & macaroons (something that I truly appreciate)
Thank you so much, Alex, We loved it, we will come back, have a nice day y'all!
I came here often for coffee and pastries, and decided to come here for high tea.
Such a lovely experience. Highly recommend it. $45 per person and they will serve you w delectable sandwiches and sweet bites!
What a gem! It felt like I was in NYC or Paris with a very glamorous atmosphere. The food was delicious! The best chai I have ever had (with oat milk) and an amazing key lime pie. Desiree made me feel so welcomed and even gave me a tour of the iconic National Hotel with the original tellers as it used to be a bank. She also took my pictures and is a great photographer. She is the sweetest! This was my first time in Oklahoma City and I will surely be back to this magical patisserie.
