“Pretty good! Food is excellent and very fresh. Four stars because getting seated is kind of awkward. They need a "please wait to be seated" sign or something at the front. When I came in, I wasn't sure if I needed to seat myself or wait. Then when I was seated, I wasn't sure if I should go to the buffet or if I needed to wait for permission. Might be more obvious for other people, but being kind of socially awkward, I did a lot of dithering. The tasty food made up for it though. I love the veggie korma and mushroom soup. Definitely give the mushroom coriander and kheer a try, too.”

“I take my 106-year-old grandmother to lunch most weeks. Per usual, I emailed ahead that we would be coming and an approximate time because my grandmother requires some accommodation. Well, we were nearly half an hour late (for which I apologized profusely)! Nevertheless, the lovely staff got us seated almost immediately and were attentive to her needs. The food was too good not to finish! Syrup is a darling restaurant with great food and an awesome staff. Try it, you’ll be happy you did!”

“Samurai Sushi is a pleasant surprise. I had the pleasure of having a late evening dinner there just before the COVID emergency closed most businesses for a while Samurai Sushi is not a rowdy bar. The restaurant is stylishly simple, clean, intimate and very relaxing. The menu items are well presented and the food is delicious. It is a sophisticated, moderately priced place for comfortable dining. I highly recommend it. I'm eager for the day the dining room will open again for dining in. Meanwhile I intend to continue to order through their fine take out service.”
