“My business partner and I recently visited Oklahomies Mobile Gastronomy Lounge, and while the service was amazing and the atmosphere gave off a charming small-town bar vibe, our dining experience was a bit disappointing.We were excited to try their famous burgers, which everyone in town raved about. I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and my business partner tried the ranch burger. The first couple of bites of my burger were good, but soon the overwhelming taste of season salt took over. It was so strong that it became the only flavor I could taste. Unfortunately, the fries had the same issue with excessive seasoning. My business partner experienced the same problem with their ranch burger. We both ended up unable to finish our burgers.Maybe it was just an off day for them, but the heavy-handed use of season salt really overshadowed what could have been a great meal.”

They made me feel important and connected by learning my name and using it in a personal way. Even the little things, like bringing out a few extra napkins after I was already eating - all-around top notch service! The food was prepared quickly and brought out to me. “The best Chicken Fried Chicken between Colbert and Pitcher, Oklahoma border to border on US 69. I was expecting a burger, fries, breakfast all day, chicken fried steak, daily meatloaf special kind of a place. A roadside, small town country diner. Surprise. It has all that, but Mexican food dominates the menu. A big selection of Mexican food. I see all the Mexican food on the menu, but today my brain and my taste buds were tuned to diner food. In a small section of the menu there is a heading “Country Dinners.” Look there. That’s where the fried gold is located, Chicken Fried Chicken.” That’s for me with a salad and fried okra. This is Chicken Fried Chicken done right. A big chicken breast pounded out thin, to the size of a pie pan. Coated with a light batter of cracker crumbs and fried to the perfect golden glow. Moist, tender, thin, flavorful chicken. Cream gravy on the side. This is the way I like it! Very few restaurants can make chicken fried chicken this good. On the side, a big heaping bowl of excellent crunchy fried okra and a salad. Fresh crisp lettuce, a little diced tomato, cheese, croutons and a couple of purple onion loops. Add Thousand Island and that is the way I like a salad. It doesn’t feel or look like a Mexican restaurant, but it is. My wife ordered the Bandera Enchilada plate: one beef with chili sauce, one cheese with queso and one chicken with green sauce. All good. She preferred the green sauce. Very mildly seasoned food. We should have ordered some salsa picante to add a little more spice. The service is excellent: welcoming, friendly attentive. Delicious big filling plates of food. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with the feel of a small-town diner. A great dining experience and very recommended.”

“My business partner decided to try out Hangry Joes for lunch today even though there were so many poor reviews. He tried the chicken sando and I got an order of 12 wings. First off, the wings were HUGE and very fresh, they were breaded (which I don’t love) and seasoned very well! I got the hot dry rub which was perfectly spicy. They were almost too hot (oven hot) to eat. I was only able to eat 6 of the wings cause they were so big! My partner said his sandwich tasted very fresh, juicy and perfectly spicy as well. His came with waffle fries which were fresh and tasty! Food came out very quickly although it was not very busy.”

He ordered a chili burger and onion rings and I ordered the chicken fried steak with baked potato and salad. The onion rings were just average. He said the Chili Burger was good. The chicken fried steak was good. The baked potato didn't seem fresh but was just okay. The salad was an average side salad. Their prices were very reasonable. The Chili Burger was $6.95 and came with chips. The onion rings were $2.95. The Chicken Fried Steak dinner was $9.95. The servers were friendly but service was disorganized. Had to ask for refills. There were also two $2.75 charges for beverages on the ticket but we just had water. We brought this to our server's attention and promptly corrected it. They offer a cash discount. They have a menu covering breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

“Food is delicious, people are nice, fast service and moderate pricing and options. They have more takeouts compared to dine-in and that is because of the limited seating. The lunch special for 2 people is $20.00 and I think if you were to piece things out and wanted chips- you would be about $30. So, there is a little complaint about the pricing and menu. Chips are additional cost although they have a salsa bar, I found that very interesting. Baja Jacks down the road has chips and salsa with the meals, and so does all Mexican food options in town- maybe that can be changed in the future. Overall, we will continue to come back for the lunch special.”
