“Best red beans and rice. Beyond what you can imagine. Big portions, beautiful light flaky catfish. I'm almost certain they substitute bottom sucking catfish with some sort of trout or sea bass. The shrimp are jumbo. You will be full. Service is okay, speed of food coming out isn't terrible. Did I mention the red beans and rice? Honestly try them. Clouds will part, heavenly choirs will sing. There was nothing I wouldn't recommend. The guacamole was way hotter than most places which I loved. The tamales were hands down the best I have ever had. I usually try to catch one of the locals in El Paso or Laredo when in that area but these were even better than those. If you like your Mexican food with a kick and the most tender beef you could ask for you will love this place.”
