Angel's Diner

I absolutely love this place in McAlester. Yummy food and the decorations are awesome...makes you feel like you are back in the 50's.We have ate here several times passing through but we drove there Saturday just to eat there for our anniversary and we live about 1 1/2 hours away. Well worth the drive.

This was my first time at this location. I pass this location all the time heading towards the lake. The food was good. I thought the cobbler was box cobbler and went into the microwave. I think our waitress was just ok. I don't think I will return anytime soon.

I ordered the meat loaf and it was bland and the sides tasted like they were heated in the microwave. When we were sitting for our lunch the microwave was being used a lot. I think If i wanna heat using the microwave i will eat at home.

Very good service and very good food

Atmosphere and staff were awesome. Food was fantastic. Only disappointment was the server said they had coconut cream pie. I asked for a slice to go. It wasn't a coconut cream pie it was a coconut meringue pie. "Big difference". I would still go there again.

My server was the sweetest! I was on my way back through from a funeral headed home to Dallas. Drove about 30 minutes out of my way to find this cozy place. She let me relax and take my time, and didn't rush. To be honest when I looked at the menu online, the fried zucchini and fried green tomatoes where what pulled me in?
Upon arrival, the gentleman who seemed like the lead cook looked for us and said that they were out. Halfway through my meal they discovered they had some, so he brought me some on the house! Not a big deal to most, but the hospitality made my day especially after what I have been through. Thank you guys at angel's diner! I will be back my next time through!
