“This barbeque is fantastic. I eat here every time I visit McAlester and I can't wait to go back. Their Widowmaker is to die for! The small restaurant has only outdoor seating, but if the weather permits, it's wonderful. The menu has something for everyone and the loaded fries are incredible. Staff helped my friend pick something that suited her in a friendly way that showed how confident and familiar they were with their food. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“This was my first time at this location. I pass this location all the time heading towards the lake. The food was good. I thought the cobbler was box cobbler and went into the microwave. I think our waitress was just ok. I don't think I will return anytime soon. I ordered the meat loaf and it was bland and the sides tasted like they were heated in the microwave. When we were sitting for our lunch the microwave was being used a lot. I think If i wanna heat using the microwave i will eat at home.”

“I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon as I was traveling from Texas to Oklahoma. Service was great and pizza was so, so tasty! I had the Messy Jesse, individual size. I took half of it home, and it was great heated up in the oven. They provided bread and garlic-herb butter as an appetizer - it was also delicious. There's a lot on the menu other than pizza, so I look forward to returning and trying more dishes. Highly recommend!”

“We had a long day on the road and were looking for a nice sit down dinner. Well we got one. El Jalisco had great service and great food. It was soothing balm to our wary souls. My daughter had a taco salad with chicken. I had the chicken nachos and hubby had the combo plate with taco and enchilada. Everyone must have enjoyed their food as we all made happy plates. My chicken was a little salty, but I chalk that up to the fact I usually do not eat salt much. Overall everything tasted great. We all loved the salsa. The salsa was just the right spicy with heat. We recommend El Jalisco wholeheartedly.”

“Great place. Was my first time at this place and I was very satisfied. Got a big breakfast plate with pancakes on the side. The eggs were cooked over easy like I asked, the bacon and sausage patties were on point, the pancakes were as if they were made from scratch. Coffee was good and when I asked for a glass of milk they brought it out in an ice cold mug for me. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try the burgers!”

“Went there tonight with our son it was AMAZING!! Best fish around! So fresh and seasoned to perfection didn't even have to touch it with lemon! I heard it was good but I was beyond impressed! Service was just as good if not better! Everyone was so friendly and on top of making sure we were taken care of, the food was fresh and fast even tho it's a small place and they were pretty busy. And for a gas station/convenience store the atmosphere was great and the food better than a lot of full blown restaurants I've been to!! Definitely worth the drive and for 4 people 3 all you can eat only $55?!? Nobody left hungry or disappointed!! Will DEFINITELY be back!!”
