Akira Sushi & Ramen

Was not impressed with their ramen or their sushi. Bland sushi.
Ramen beef is not great texture and eggs are not soy eggs. Broth is not rich and flavor doesn't contribute to over all experience. Not bad but low on my list of sushi places.

Deep fried crunchy roll. Hmmm hit the spot and the ramen is so fresh and tasty

Sushi didn’t have much fish in it - got the Californian roll and eel roll. Fried rice just seemed like gummy steamed rice.

Great sushi and ramen option at Mother Road! I ordered the Sunshine Roll and the Tonkotsu Pork Ramen.

Sunshine roll was simple and delicious. Sushi rice tasted great and the fish was perfect.

The Ramen had very generous portions of pork chashu, noodles and veggies. Much more than I’d typically expect. The pork chashu (4 slices) was spectacular. The broth was more creamy than I’m used to, but was still great. The only real knock against the ramen was that the half egg was hard boiled all the way through. That may have been an intentional style difference, but I strongly prefer the soft boiled egg instead.

Great service and food recommendations. Great overall experience.
