This was a spur of the moment choice and I'm so glad we chose it! I ordered the chicken fried chicken dinner and received the chicken fried steak at first. I highly recommend this to everyone, even tho it's not what I ordered. I sent it back and quickly received my chicken fried chicken dinner, which was excellent! The chicken was tender and the batter was so flaky and buttery. The mashed potatoes were so good, too! I had fried okra and it was great, too. My husband ordered the club sandwich and it was huge! The meat is plentiful and very tasty! We will definitely return. I'm giving it a 4-star because there was quite a bit of confusion with who our waitress actually was (we had 3) and I was delivered the wrong meal at first. Other than that, this place is great.

Just a couple of miles from home, this has become one of our favorite go-to's. Food is nothing fancy, just good down home style cooking. Breakfast is good, and they bread their own chicken fried steaks which are quite large and good. I'm always trying chicken fried steaks at new places, and theirs is one of the best. My favorite is to order it as a sandwich on Texas toast... You get the normal full size chicken fried steak which overhangs the bread by inches on every side.

Just had coffee and Boston Creme Pie. Nice comfortable easy diner. Good size. Wait people friendly even if not yours. Easy on off for 66 and 44. Liked it. Well done.

Freeway is my favorite diner in Tulsa.
Have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place. The staff from top to bottom for a great job. Right now. They are so busy there is a very good chance the owner could be helping out getting the pots and pans caught up. Good food, fair prices, a lot of smiles from an extremely friendly staff.
