Open Container

We went on a nice mild evening at sunset. It's perched high enough to get a great view of the sun setting behind the downtown skyline. Beautiful! It's a great casual atmosphere to hang out with friends or an easy date. I'm a vegetarian, my friend is not. We tried several things on the menu. The food was just okay. But it was nice to see an attempt at several options you don't find on many menus. (Food: 4 stars for the attempt, 3 stars for the results; Casual dining atmosphere & service: 5 stars) = 4 stars.

The food was pretty good, and a decent price, but for someone who doesn’t drink I think it is ridiculous that I was charged $3 for a can of soda which the bartender opened, during covid I’d rather not have anyone touch where my mouth is going to be put on a can. The bartender lady was pretty rude to everyone, there are lot better places downtown with better bartenders.

The margs are $8 and are so small and they are not good. The food was ok, but definitely they could improve their service

ATTENTION VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS! You definitely need to try the cauliflower wings at Open Container! My family and I are obsessed with them! We've made it a point to try all of the cauliflower wings in the city and these are by far the absolute BEST! They have the perfect balance of flavor without making the cauliflower itself soggy like most places do. Go on a Monday when they have 1/2 off wings and try them in every flavor. YUM YUM YUM!
