Went in for the first time to grab a Caluda’s King Cake, and my experience was overall a good one.
I had decided to try one of each thing that was available at the “hot bar” and was not disappointed. Yes, there were things that I personally did not like (the different sausages to be exact) but to each their own.
Staff were nice. They were quick at having everything bagged up and ready to go for me.

I definitely look forward to coming back during crawfish season, so I can try the crawfish!

Great food with GREAT flavor. Staff was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We were checked in on multiple times. Great friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced menu as well.

Wow! 🤩 Make the drive to Coweta y’all!

A Very authentic and super delicious variety of fare and market. Try the boiled shrimp and add saucey butter, plus the crawfish pie and crawfish cake, you’ll thank me later. They have the best commercially made King Cake we’ve Ever had. So soft and lemony….& Scrumptious y’all!
I’ll update you when the hog-head cheese thaws and hits the palate. Looking forward to that for sure.

They have a small variety of frozen drinks that will carry you home. You can have them refill it after the meal and seal the cup for the trip home. #swampwater 🤷🏼

Mitch, (co-owner) was great to visit with and has a 100% direct connection with the home base in Homa and Natchitoches (nackadish) LA.
    Go now and often!

The friendly attentive staff must have had the day off. No smile, no greeting, no thank you, nothing….. Not a friendly place. My impression as a customer is that the staff would have just as soon been anywhere but there. Order and pay at the counter. The tip is requested when you pay, before you get your food. The minimal service is hardly tip worthy, they bring your food to your table. That’s it. If you need anything else it is at the counter.

My wife and I split the 15 boiled shrimp meal. It comes with two potatoes and one corn. I wanted to get a sampling of their food, so I added a Boudin Ball and a Smoked Boudin Link. The shrimp were nice big perfect examples of how shrimp should be cooked. Very good, fresh tasting, mildly seasoned. I needed a little more heat. I went to the serve yourself counter for knives and forks for the Boudin, and found some “Slap Ya Mama.” That helped. The corn meh. Potatoes Ok. The Boudin was fair. A good hot sauce would have helped the Boudin. No Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco to be found in the restaurant. That’s not how it should be.
The restaurant charges an extra fee if you use your credit card.

"If" I sent a friend here, I would recommend “Stick with the boiled Shrimp!”

I have to admit, it is the best Cajun food in Coweta………….

My aunt is from Louisiana and put my husband and I onto this spot. Today we stopped by for the first time and it was delicious! I’m from the east coast, so of course I tried the crab cake and I was blown away. It was probably the best one I’ve ever had. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo and that was so flavorful and had a nice spice. The boudin ball was spectacular as well. This place will definitely become one we frequent, staff is super sweet as well! We were very impressed.
