Great selection of beers, Good barbeque, and the food is ready lighting fast. Not a huge menu but there are a lot of different combinations that can be made.
Hard to find good, authentic BBQ in Corvallis.
A nice place to have a beer or two before placing your order.
Owners treat the staff well, also. Nice to see happy employees.
I arrive at this superb restaurant once a month since I love the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is very attentive and experienced. The service is impressively fast. Not to mention, the food they serve is excellent. I frequent often and I was always delighted. The expense is decent. I highly suggest this place to to everybody.
Being a Midwest girl, I'm always skeptical about BBQ places, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great tasting food. It wasn't too heavy on the smokey flavor. The service was friendly, and our food was prepared rapidly.
Most definitely will return!
Not bad, but not excellent
I've had barbecue that I thought excellent. This was half as good, and twice the price. On the other hand, they do have inside seating.
The meat is very smoky with not much other flavor. The rib meat in my sandwich was a little tough, but perfectly edible. The sauce was sweet, tangy, not spicy, not much flavor. There was too much thickly sliced raw onion. The side slaw was completely unobjectionable. The cucumber salad my son had tasted mostly of vinegar, the slices were too thin to have much texture. The staff was friendly, young, reasonably well trained. The plates were extremely battered pizza pans. Cute idea, and I bet they got a zillion of them for very little cost.
Just ate there for the first time. The sliders were very good. The Cuban was delicious. The cucumber salad and coleslaw were very good. We had pork barbecue and found it to be very good. Suggestions: when I got home I put more onion on the sliders which greatly improved each of them. Next time I will ask for more barbecue sauce because I thought it was pretty good. The coleslaw could be improved with dill seed. That would make it more southern. BBQ is very American and I am glad that BBQ is starting to catch on in Oregon because Oregon needs to improve it's culinary options. I grew up with all kinds of BBQ from N. Carolina to South Texas. They will really make my day if they start serving Cherry Coke.
