“I love this bakery at Corvallis. Nice place to sit, and have free wifi. They even have comfortable sofas and magazines, newspapers to relax. Many good food options. Behind this bakery, a good walking place and sitting place along the river. I saw many old people also enjoying themselves with their friends. Good atmosphere. “We go because my grandson loves the entertainment factor of the food being cooked at the table. Our chef is always engaging, personable and makes the food prep an event. It is the highlight of the meal. The food is consistent and good. The atmosphere needs updating, the place feels dingy and they don't know how to make a good cocktail. If the atmosphere and bar were on par with the chefs I'd give them five stars!”

“Update (Jan 2020): I'm glad that the service improved -- had a pleasant time here. The menu still feels a bit overpriced -- considering the prepared meals and how it tastes, it's a tad expensive, kind of average quality. Their beer selection, however, is great and definitely worth checking out. My turkey burger with fries was quite good, but the service was ridiculously slow on a weekday early afternoon when the place was half empty. It's a cool local spot, but in my opinion Block15 is overrated; you can find better breweries in Corvallis.”

I have been to many places with a similar approach so there was nothing special about this location, apart from the excellent beers. “Okay. Let me just tell you how it is: this is the best mole I have had since I was a little girl. I initially decided to go to Miguel's because it is a convenient walking distance from my work. I did not know that this would become a new favorite. On the first bite, my eyes actually glazed over because I was instantly teleported to a life I thought I had left behind when I moved to Oregon. I have lived here for 13 years now and I have never had such a euphoric experience from one bite of food. Ever. If you are looking for something authentic, with a passion for the craft and dedication it takes to make amazing cuisine, you need to get your butt down to Miguel's. It took so much strength for me to break away from my chicken enchiladas en mole to write this review. This is also the first review I have ever written in my life. I have lived in three different continents, and this one food truck has got me in a state of euphoria I did not know possible. I highly recommend it. Best mole. Hands down.”

“We were looking for a taqueria that was on our way to the beach my wife found this place in a search. After going there I see why it is so highly rated. The food was super delicious. Great seasoning on the meats, a great selection of sauces from mild to spicy, good beverage selections and the prices are very reasonable. I had the chicken taco plate. The chicken was very juicy so I let that drip onto the rice. It was delicious. We will be stopping here more often when we head to the this part of the beach.”

“What a delightful treat here at Sugar Toast! Who'd have thought home made bread, cream, ice cream and fruit would go so well together. Be prepared for the large portion in the Sugar Toast! Perfect to split with someone special. The popcorn chicken was pretty dry and could use something more interesting to dip in than ketchup. The crab wantons were very yummy, and the smoothies are very good. The real fruit and the ice cream/mango sorbet was great together! The toast was a blast to tear into with some chop sticks, so be sure to give them a try. The service is super friendly and has that family feel. Definitely a place we'll come back to.”
