What a sweet little get away from the week end craziness. Polite staff. Fried food is not my favorite but I was hungry and everything in town was crazy busy so i took a chance. It was delicious.
Better than Bow Picker!
Nice lightly breaded fish and chips. Large cuts of fish with generous portions. We had the halibut, prawns and chowder and were impressed with the food and rapid service.
It was clear that fresh herbs were present in the chowder and great care taken in the preparation of our fish. Kudos!
Small but mighty comes to mind , this location is a food cart that has great food friendly service and outdoor seating. My favorite is the Ship dip (French dip)on tuesday but their fish and chips and chicken strips are Awesome too. This is a local favorite and could be easily missed due to its out of the way location. My suggestion you should try it , you'll love it !
At first, I was unsure of what to expect. This restaurant is well away from the touristy waterfront. But the online reviews were right. We both had the Halibut Fish and Chips, and we were not disappointed! Made to order, I am sure, these were the freshest and most substantial pieces of flaky fish we had ever had. The batter on both the fish and chips was excellent. Kudos to the owners and staff for delivering quality!
Ship Out never disappoints! Great staff and thus far the best fish I've had the pleasure of having locally. It might be a little spendier than some of the competition but worth every penny. Great staff and peaceful outside dining area, might be inconvenienced by a wait if just dropping by on a sunny day but again.... well worth it!
