The SEA Crab House

Good food & courteous/efficient service in a clean & pleasant atmosphere. Great views of ship traffic at the mouth of the Columbia River. Only open since March 2021, no liquor license yet!

2nd visit: Apr 1, 2022: liquor license in hand - drink offerings looked on par, with 4 breweries in town beer selections could have been a lot better. We had the crab boil with SEA house special sauce - excellent, & with all the needed tools. Sea otters in the river was a great "extra". Can easily become a "when in Astoria" required stop.

I go here every time I'm in town! I go all out and order at least $300 worth of seafood, which is so worth it!! The SEA Spice seasoning is AMAZING!!! While everything is delicious for what it is, I would especially recommend the King Crab, lobster, mussels, and prawns. Skip the sausage, corn, and potatoes because they are just fillers. But get the garlic bread because it melts in the mouth. Be sure to try the Twisted Thai Tea. It's a very accurate and very delicious take on Thai Tea with an adult twist. I WILL be back :)

Not sure how this place only has 5 stars. I have officially drove down the whole west coast from northern Washington to Southern California and this was one of my favorite seafood stops! Not only did they have incredibly fresh food, but excellent service and a great atmosphere. Worth every penny!

We stopped by while in the area. We had the shrimp boil,, half dozen oysters, and clam chowder. The chowder is to die for! It is extremely creamy and rich. The boil was perfect, exactly what we expected, and delicious. The oysters were great. Our only suggestion is to offer saltines to go with the oysters. Kevin, our server was AWESOME! She provided quick and courteous service which added to our experience.
