We had the crab omelette and crab eggs Benedict. Both were stuffed full of fresh crab and tasted great.
Oh how I hate giving three stars. The staff were nice, but lacking personality. The chicken fettuccine was warm, but not hot. The salad bar was good, but not great. The chowder was really good and the perfect temperature. Not a bad place, but it fell short in a lot of areas.
My husband and I come to Cannon twice a year and spend about 5 days. We love this place - especially the breakfast. Don't let the bad reviews sway you. It's a great place to eat!
Local Grill and Scoop in Cannon Beach is really easy to see when walking or driving on N Hemlock Street.
What is really nice is that they serve a full menu even between lunch and dinner, the time we had arrived. And like many of the restaurants in CB they are super pet friendly with a very spacious outdoor patio area.
I had the Blackened Halibut Fettuccine which had a nice flare and the more I ate it the more I wanted more! It was a large cut of Halibut that was as fresh and well cooked as they come.
My kids had the Crab Melt which had large chunks of (real) crab; and the Chicken Caesar Salad which was solid.
From start to finish the service was exceptional!
Brought a group of 10 and the waitress handled our group beautifully. Food came out super fast and it was prepared very well. I loved that we could eat crab legs or a nice entree for the adults while having a kids menu and ice cream cones in the same place. It served really nice entrees comparable to the fancier restaurants but had a really chill environment for the kids. It was pricey, but expected being in Cannon Beach.
