The view when sitting outside really makes this place! I came for the view and to have the chowder. I ended up having that plus a couple oyster shooters and fun banter with the waitstaff. So why four stars and not five? The chowder has too much potato in it for me. When I am at the ocean, I especially want to taste all the things from the ocean and it felt a little like I was eating potato-soup instead of chowder. Still worth the visit and the eat!!
Right on the beach and prom. Casual dining. Famous chowder plus many other seafood dishes and a few non-seafood choices too. Clean and quick. Tasty food with friendly staff.
Unpretentious seafood establishment with bench seating and sweeping views of the shore. Definitely family-friendly and plenty of kitschy merchandise for sale. Still, this place gives off a good diner feel, and the portions are large, well priced, and most importantly delicious. Try the tuna melt and New England clam chowder and you'll leave a happy and sated customer.
Nice place! It looks like in the summertime the wall of glass doors opens up to the ocean directly, so we will be back to enjoy that! Clam chowder was excellent! I had the Alfredo, not the best I've ever had, but it's a seafood restaurant so what was I doing ordering the Alfredo!? ????
We will definitely be back in the summer ????
