Ichabod's Restaurant

Food was great. Our server was busy but remained attentive and pleasant.

Been coming here for years (really the only traditional breakfast spot in Scappoose). Above all else their service is what keeps us coming back though. Besides that they have:

- decent value
- family friendly
- good sized portions
- good selection
- really good hashbrowns
- avoid the mushrooms, they are canned
- seating area is a bit cramped, but thats to be expected considering how popular they are

It is not great. But for me and my family it is a convenient place to get some simple breakfast food when we are feeling lazy and tired of the bagel shop across the parking lot.

I always do eggs, hash browns (well done), toast and sausage. Simple and safe.

In my experience they don't really season anything, which I imagine is in part due to the crowd that tends toward the elderly. Salt is bad!

Service is usually quick and friendly.

Don't go expecting awesome food like Tastys and you won't be too disappointed.

Good old comfort food in a small community environment. All meals fit the bill so go there anytime. Locally owned and operated. I go there when I'm in the area.

Nice family restaurant. Had a good breakfast of scrambled eggs with hash browns and veggie omelet with country potatoes. From my standpoint the country potatoes with lots of peppers and mushrooms was the star of the meal. In one of those rare occasions the decaffeinated coffee was better than the plain, hands down. Service was good. Would stop again
