“We just arrived back in Canada after taking a vacation down the Oregon coast, we dine in everyday for the seven days, we made it all the way to Crescent city, California before we turned back. We just happened on this little sports bar around 1:00 in the afternoon on July 3rd, it was interesting and inviting from the curb so we decided to go in for lunch and try a draft beer. I had the Cajun crab soup, I love chowders but this by far was the best I have ever eaten, so tasty, lots of delicious crab, I have have eaten chowders from the east coast to the west coast of Canada and the USA. A 5⭐️in my books.”

We had burgers and fries and my 4 year old loved her Nathan's corndog nuggets. We've struggled finding good burgers that aren't made out of frozen meat - these are made fresh. “Food were great, and the service was excellent and friendly. There's a lot of options, so it's a great choice for almost anyone to eat in the area. The burger was fairly average, but good - the bacon was cooked well, which is somewhat rare on a burger. The fries were surprisingly good, and were nice and crispy. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The wait was short, especially considering how few employees were working. Overall, I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.”

She growled at him "I'm only one person and the other girl is training!!" Then walks away growling "you can go eat somewhere else for all I care!!". We got up and left. I'm a 37 year food industry/retail industry worker and that was inexcusable behavior!!!! We will not go back there again as long as that woman works there. If you're having a bad day or are feeling overwhelmed you need to step back and take a deep breath...it was NOT his fault and you owe him an apology.”

It seems like it's been there for just a few years but the fact that my two youngest (now 24 and 29yo) always go to La Herradura when they visit, proves me wrong 😁 Always a great plate of food (hot plate, that is... which doesn't stop one from grabbing it anyway). Not overpriced. Fresh ingredients. Staff that remembers you, teaches you and the kids Spanish (if you have a curious one that is genuinely interested), and always greet you with a smile. Fast service to boot. I wish they had a few more seafood-based dishes but the variety of flavors never disappoints.”
