Food was sooooo good. Our server and the young kid filling water etc were both excellent and on top of anything extra needed like all my extra lemons for my ice tea. Highly recommend Brother Johns

Went here for lunch on a weekend. Conveniently located downtown, food prices were reasonable, and beer was inexpensive. . Service was good considering our server was also on bar duty. The food was good and I highly recommend their tater tots. They look ordinary but somehow were some of the best tots I’ve had. I also recommend the buffalo burger and veggie burgers.

One of the best places downtown for great casual food. Great location and easy to park if you are willing to walk a block. There's a couple secret spots, especially on the weekend. Their menu regulars offer the usual pub food but done very well. Big portions and always consistently good. The specials are the best though. Seasonal offerings and the best soups in Bend. Its not a brewery but they have a great selection of local beers and they also have a full bar if you have had your fill of Bend craft beers. The restaurant can get full during peak hours. When it does it gets very loud. Not necessarily a bad thing if you are bringing kids.

Always like this reliable standard. On this occasion the service was just the best. So often in Bend you could die at the table without a server noticing. But not at the Alehouse and certainly not when I visited.
