Roam

1) The Roam Salad is mixed lettuce with poached northwest pears, rogue creamery blue cheese, candied hazelnuts and champagne vinaigrette. It was very fresh and the dressing coverage was just right: not too much or little. Choice to add chicken or salmon. My salmon was cooked medium and was flavorful. Nice combo with the salad. 2) The Butternut Squash Bisque is some of the best I’ve ever had. More thick than other versions and I really enjoyed that.
Staff was professional and on task. Bathrooms are in the adjoined hotel and very clean. Artwork is from there.

Went here for brunch. When we walked in we told them our reservation was no longer for 7, but for 5. They said that was fine, however, we were asked 2 more times if any others were going to show up. We also had to repeatedly tell them our drink order. One friend asked for an espresso, the server told her she should try the espresso martini and my friend said no thanks... she never did get her espresso. Since we had so much trouble with our original drink order, we didn't even bother asking again for that espresso. We ordered a lot of food, the hot cake was good, but very sweet. Glad we shared it, as all of us said it was too sweet to eat the entire thing by ourselves. The calamari was okay, nothing special. The steak and eggs, very much lacked. The steak had no flavor. The biscuits and gravy, cute idea to add Paprika and do bacon bits in the gravy. However, there was hardly any bacon in it and well there just needed to be more gravy all together. Essentially you're just eating a biscuit at the end with no gravy, because you run out. The eggs Benedict was pretty good. The server said their hollandaise sauce was something special... sorry but it was not. It was your average hollandaise. The Canadian bacon however, was delicious. The potatoes that come on the side were pretty underwhelming as well, needed some more flavor. The brioche french toast... is not brioche bread. It was way too thin and lacked flavor. Overall, the food is underwhelming, lacks flavor, and service well not sure they actually listen when you order.

Came here for the first time last night and it was amazing! Brussels Sprouts and calamari were perfect appetizers and their entrees were amazing! Finished it all off with desserts for the table, best cheesecake around and the Panna cotta was delicious as well! Highly recommend trying this place out if you want a really good meal, can’t wait to come back for breakfast!!

We took my parents here when they visited Bend for the Thanksgiving holiday. Justin, the manager, was an incredible human and was so gracious when we asked if we could have more time at the bar to finish our delicious cocktails. The cocktails were fabulous, and when we were seated, we were helped quickly and kindly. The food was delicious and my parents loved it. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience for my parents, my husband Tom and I. And thank you Justin for making us feel so special - what an incredible establishment. We will be back again.
