He introduced himself to us before taking our order, recommended an alternative drink when the store was out of peppermint, and was very pleasant. We listened as he interacted with other customers and his wonderful service shone through with each new order. “We dropped by this cafe for breakfast on our last day in Sunriver. I wish we found it earlier in the trip so we could have gone back. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in quite some time, and possibly the best service I’ve ever had. Perfectly executed eggs Benedict. Great pastries. The waitress seemed like she loved her job and she was very good at it. Magically appearing at just the moments we needed her. Never making us wait. Delivering the food, drinks, and check quickly (the server was listed as CC on the check) We will definitely be back.”

“One of two coffee shops in Bend that deserve 5 stars. Complex flavors in drip coffee. Always have 2 choices. I like their Ethiopia best (either washed or natural), but also like some of their Central American coffee. Like the vibe and the baristas/order takers at this location. Eclectic music that I like. If there is one thing I would change, it would be to lower the volume a little so it would be easier to have a conversation. Come to Bend 5 to 8 times a year and always come here at least twice and pick up a bag of beans to take home.”

Nitro coffee and other beverages. The Francesca breakfast sandwich is my favorite. A definite place to try if you are visiting Bend.”

“Honestly I love this place. I get the same thing every time, Jump Start add Bacon on whatever bagel they have that I like. I got one the other day, and there was no bacon even though I paid for it (it’s like $3 more to add bacon) so I called and let them know hey you forgot the bacon just wanted to let you know, and the person on the phone was nice enough to give me a gift card for the amount of a new sandwich. Couple days go by, and I decide to get my free sandwich! Super excited, then my girlfriend calls me as I’m about to go pick it up, she needs a ride to ER because her nose was broken. So I did what any good boyfriend would do and dropped everything to take her in. I had to call in and cancel my sandwich order unfortunately. This is where it gets unsettling. The man on the phone didn’t care what I had going on, he was obviously upset/mad at me because the sandwich was made. I understand the severity of waste and food cost but he was flat out rude about it and when I asked if I’d still be able to get my replacement in the future, he hesitated and finally said “I guess.” Cool, fine, whatever. Now today I called to get my replacement. What do you know, there’s no more gift card there and he has to ask around the shop to see if anyone knew of my situation. Luckily someone did and I finally got my order in. I went to pick it up and the man at the window was flat out looked unhappy to be serving me and when I said “thank you I appreciate it” Al I got back was a “yep” and a window slammed in my face. If you’re that unhappy where you work maybe don’t work there. Wonderful food, aggravating service.”

“I'm visiting at Bend Oregon from Seattle. I came to eat some bakeries for breakfast around 8am. Parking lot was full but you can park across the street. I ordered warm Raisin Cinnamon Roll, Almond Croissant and Cappuccino. After waiting for my drink...already long lines. I find this to be a popular place. My cinnamon and almond croissant are light taste and not so sweet. Cappuccino is a great flavor. I enjoyed watching the customers and dogs. Love that atmosphere here.”

“I'm constantly having my mind blown by their always prefect foam no matter who is working. When I am there I'm often doing my little humming happy dance thing I do when something is wonderfully delicious. Their drink specials are ALWAYS wonderful. Right now the turmeric coffee drink they have is out of this world. Their treats are ALWAYS so prefecture flavored and baked. The staff are always wonderful. I love them all so much. They do their best to remember your name. And the building is just beautiful. This is a locals spot and a tourist attraction so it gets really busy sometimes but there's never much of a wait.”
