Grubsteak Mining Company Bar & Grill

After attending a funeral our group of 10 people headed there for lunch. Was pleasantly surprise. They had great food, great service. The bill was way less than I expected. I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly service, food was good, price was reasonable. It was a much bigger place than it looked from the outside. We will stop there every time we go through JohnDay. A very pleasant experience after the place in Prairie City last year.

Excellent service, and all the food was delicious. We will stop by there again next time we are in the area.

This is a great little place.
Had the grubsteak burger with onion rings.
The burger- grilled onion bacon and cheese on sourdough bread. Super good.
The onion rings were excellent with an awesome dill ranch.
Then the peach cobler. It was excellent.
With the vanilla bean ice cream melting on it you can't end a meal any better.
