Hitchin' Post Drive In Cafe

While the service was very friendly and the portion sizes were good, the quality of the burger patty itself was pretty poor. It was oddly chewy, kind of like the pre-formed patties you can get frozen from a food distributor. The onion rings were good, though!

The panther burger was delicious! The blackberry shake had real blackberries in it! I really liked how they brought bottles of ranch and fry sauce to our table instead of just a measly little tub! The cook was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was super clean!

I enjoyed the food. Onion rings were great and made it all worth it. I would have rated higher but their prices are a bit steep. And what they call a large shake makes me wonder what their small size would look like. I think what put it over the top was charging me extra for take out...eating in was not an option and you charge the customer for a brown bag?

Worth the stop but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Great french fries and shakes. Under new management, inside was decorated and painted. Same great food!
