You might find better beer, better food, better location, better service, but I dare you to find all those things in one place that can beat Thunder Island. I've had just about everything on the menu except for some of the entree salads. Everything is excellent. Never had a beer of theirs that I didn't love. The 140 IPA, Dirt Surfer IPA, and the porter were all favorites. One more dessert option would be great. The view and airiness, if that's a word, make for a great atmosphere. Love the soundtrack and it doesn't mess with you ability to visit. Okay that's enough. Keep it up TIB!
Absolutely amazing! We had vegan and non vegan diets at our table and we loved absolutely everything. It’s one of those places where you don’t want to stop eating even though you’re full. The beer and cider was SO good too. We are so impressed with thunder island brewing. If you have the chance go!
Great beer, but skip the food. After visiting the Bonneville dam, my husband and I wanted lunch and this place was nearby. We ordered two beers, which were both excellent, a bacon burger and a Ruben sandwich. It took 25 minutes to get them. The place wasn't busy - less than a quarter full - but the kitchen was only putting out one meal every 6 minutes (I timed it). My burger was 1/4 inch thick, dry and tasteless. There was half a teaspoon of "house made bacon jam", a paper-thin slice of smoked provolone, some shredded iceberg lettuce and mayo, and a "brioche" bun, none of which helped. The Caesar salad side ($1.00 extra) was also void of flavor. The Kimchi Ruben was spicy and much better - I'd give it a C+. Service was excellent and friendly, but didn't make up for the food. The beers were among the best we have ever had.
We came here for dinner, seven of us. It was awesome! Food was incredible, beer was amazing, really nice wine choices. The very best thing was our waiter Ben. He was incredible, spot on with everything from helping us with the menu choices, going over the beverage choice in great detail. He truly cares, which is so refreshing to see. Do not miss this place! Ask for Ben😊. You will not be disappointed in anything here!
Friendly staff with great service, good food and a nice lineup of cold beer. Started with buffalo cauliflower which had the perfect amount of heat. Then had the bacon jam burger and fries, it was excellent. Also tried a little of the salmon rice bowl and put it down with a flight of 5 different beers.
