Apple Valley BBQ

An honest-to-goodness hole in the wall BBQ joint that DESERVES to be a household name. If they weren't 2 hours from where we live we'd be here daily!

We got seated immediately. There is usually a wait. The barbecue is always amazing. I don't recommend the macaroni salad as it has a mayonnaise base. The cornbread is dry. The beans are great. I seriously miss their previous location at the store. It was way better.

It was busy when we stopped by for lunch, and you would have never known if you were just observing the staff. They were friendly and efficient! The food was exceptional. Loved the pear coleslaw and pulled pork.

As you approach you can smell the smoke from the smoker. There was a hub of people. We got seated fairly quick. Server was on spot with water and drinks.
The Danger Zone Burger was unbelievable....two beef patties, pulled pork, bacon and all the fixings...oh man was heaven. The ribs were perfectly cooked dry rubbed with a brush of BBQ sauce. The pear coleslaw was refreshing and not to sweet or sour. Some of the best baked bean I have eaten anywhere.

So glad we stopped it definitely worth the visit.

My husband and I got the smoked meatloaf sandwich and it came with one side. I got the pear Cole slaw and it was delicious. My husband got the baked beans which were also delicious. The roll was toasted to perfection. It also had a slice of tomato and a leaf of green lettuce. The meatloaf was like no other. It was truly delicious.
