Chateaubriand 36

Absolutely wonderful. From the warm opening greeting to the end it was supreme. The green salad was tasty and well presented. The filet was as good as any I have ever had. The salmon was creative and delicious. The wine list almost all French was reasonable and well chosen. The staff were the best and even the ones still in training and the ambiance was peaceful and the music appropriate. This is a must do restaurant! And even reasonably priced.

We loved celebrating our anniversary at Chateaubriand 36! Service was excellent, food was yummy, and wine was perfectly paired. Quiet atmosphere and very nice ambiance added to the experience. Highly recommend!

Pleasant garden seating at new steakhouse run by local Winchester Inn. Very nice wait staff. Well prepared vegetables and salads. Did not try steaks but other diners seemed pleased.

Don't miss French Bliss - I never received such careful attention to dietary needs, and we truly enjoyed this little slice of heaven. The wedge salad, escargot, steak and brisket were exceptional - and taking advantage of warm afternoon sun on the patio in the spring offered a beautiful view of Ashland hills.

So far I have dined here twice and couldn’t be happier with the quality and service. Everything from French onion soup, fresh salads, bone marrow and the Chateaubriand itself, a VERY large and delicious steak to share with friends and family. The space has a cute and personal feeling with great mood lighting and can accommodate small and large parties. Our server, Solai was knowledgeable a helped with sauces and wine pairings. I couldn’t be happier for us and Ashland to have such a great French steakhouse.
