We were actually walking to another restaurant when we happened by this place. Robert, who was bartending tonight, was amazing and kept us entertained and well fed. Great cocktails, amazing food and wonderful staff. Fantastic local find. We never made it to the other restaurant.

We have eaten Indian food all over the world, including India. Our meal at Masala was amazing. The kitchen took the dishes to a different level, most certainly inspired by the traditional recipes, but unlike any that we have ever had. And then we need to give kudos to the servers. They were attentive and friendly and could speak directly to every dish that was presented. Thank you Amanda. Such a delightful experience!

What a GREAT Ashland restaurant! I've lived here for nearly five years and the fact I'm just discovering how delicious their food is feels like a crime. We got the biryani and butter chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion sizes, and definitely no skimping on the protein! The service was awesome, as well, our waiter/bartender was great, quick, and very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in the railroad district.

Great food, good quantity. We got gobhi Manchurian for appetizer and the royal thali. We were 5 of us so we did end up trying almost all the curry options available. Gobhi manchurian tasted nice even though it was more of a honey chilli kind of dish. Overall, food quality was good and all curries tasted different so that was great. Food was very rich and portion size is big for the thali so there is no way you will be able to finish it in one go. The naan was my favorite bit. Lamb Rogan josh was the best. Butter chicken, chanaa masala and shrimp malai curry were also delicious. Medium spice level is decent. If you ask for spicy, it comes with a bunch of chilli powder at the top which does make the curry very spicy. There is no shrikhand with the thali. We got gulag jamuns in place of that.
I also got the rose mule which was delicious and had a great ginger kick to it.
Would recommend to try this place when in Ashland :)

Didn't take any photos as we were on our way home from Bandon.
My friend was wanting Naan bread after two days of golf and poor food choices.
We sat inside in a window seat. Drinks were awesome.
Then the starters..my friends a vegetarian and I just went with whatever he felt excited about. It was great.
I did get Lamb and sang. Very good and tons of food left over...so good, so wholesome and great service.
