Vida Baking Co.

If I could only go to one bakery for the rest of my life it would be Vida. Their "Life Changing Bread" really is just that. They also make terrific coffee.

Between Portland I poured out a couple cups of coffee that were just too terrible to drink. At Vida I finally found an exceptional cup of coffee. I came here two days in a row just because I was guaranteed another great cup of coffee and I wasn’t disappointed. Both times I visited I had a sandwich and both were wonderful. On my second visit I had a banana and chocolate chip muffin that was super tasty.

Honestly, Jackson County, you need to work on your coffee game.

I absolutely adore this bakery. They offer great food, and plenty of baked goods, all gluten free. If I pass through Ashland I HAVE to stop and grab a loaf of carrot cake, I've been pretty lucky to get one even though they sell out of products fairly quickly due to their popularity.

Great overall taste. Portions were on the small size. Outdoor seating was limited but not a deal breaker.

We popped in last Thursday late afternoon to check out the goodness and we weren't disappointed. The cafezinhos, gf bagels, pao de queijo, and the gf mocha muffins were all delicious. The shop has a relaxing, easy-going vibe - it's lovely to have tasty treats reminiscent of the "vida" in Brazil.
