This sandwich shop is a stop on our way to Eugene and on the way home. We love that they have gluten free options and are pet friendly. There gluten free options are from a great bakery in the area and we have even visited the bakery since learning that information. Now my favorite part is the staff! They are so kind and honest. I left my purse behind and they took great care of me. They even allowed me to order a side of meat for my pets without make me feel crazy. We will forever visit this shop as long as the food quality and staff stay with this level of customer service. Also, outside seating for us pet parents have umbrellas and heaters for those cooler visits.
Seriously delicious, large sandwiches. They have hot and cold options including awesome salads. They also have a fantastic collection of ciders, beers and other drinks. The patio is a great place to sit and eat on nice days. Super friendly service as well!
Funky sandwich shop. Tried the pastrami zombie and Italian beef. Each were solid, not spectacular. The rye bread may have been the best part. Potato salad was good, but not worth five bucks good.
Not the cheapest, not the biggest, not the fastest but... One of the best sandwiches you can get in southern oregon! We were the first order of the day, lots of employees running around, sandwich took 20 minutes for them to make. These are finger licking sandwiches so have clean hands.
Ordered the Pastrami Zombie to split, for 75 cents they split the sandwich and added an extra pickle and bag of chips. Very nice touch. The pastrami was delicious but we got a couple of tough gristly pieces. The slaw was excellent, the rye bread was good but maybe it should have been toasted? Great music playing, comfortable seating,(for a parking lot 🤣) good vibes.
Next time Italian Beef.
We were in Ashland yesterday wanting to grab something quick & tasty. A friend recommended Sammich which I've not been to yet so we headed that way.
What we discovered was a little, heavily sandwich oasis!
Misty had a grilled cheese w/tomato soup. I had the Chicago Italian beef w/ ajus.
I failed to get a very good picture of the grilled cheese but the bread the crisp, the cheese was oooie-gooie & came with a flavorful soup.
My monster was simply perfect. The peppers on top were amazing; the meat thinly slices did the bread held everything in place without being to hard.
Easy 5 stars!
