Vinny's Italian Kitchen

My husband and I ate here for a fancy date night during our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. I come from an Italian family so I have high expectations of Italian food and it was delicious. My husband had their salmon special which we both loved (I snuck a few bites myself) and he said it was the best salmon he’s ever had. We made room for their tiramisu and wow! It’s made in house and totally worth it! We would definitely be regulars if we lived nearby.
Our waitress, Julia, was so kind and sweet. She is from Italy so hearing her give her praise for the food made it even better. We got to talk to Vinny on the way out and he was very kind too. Sad we won’t be able to come back but would recommend this place to anyone.

Some context, I've eaten at outstanding restaurants in over 50 countries and having recently moved to Rogue Valley kept hearing about Vinny's.

Arriving at the mall raised concerns as I thought I was in for chain like fare. How wrong we were.

Opening the door, you are transported into a magical romantic environment, with curated music, low light and the bustle of a busy restaurant. The dining area is chandelier and candle lit and a wonderful date environment.

Service is very friendly, fast and the staff are super knowledgeable and able to make excellent recommendations. We were served by the owners daughter and she was a delight.

The meal excelled across presentation, texture and taste. The minestrone soup was delicious. Our three main courses were all cooked perfectly with the pasta al dente. The wine portions were surprisingly copious.

My partner and son had deserts and loved them.

What to say? Vinny's is a triumph combining a wonderful experience with marvelous food at less than $40 per head (including wine). We will be back.... frequently.

First time stopping by Vinnys and I will definitely be back! My wife and I recently visited Italy and was itching for some good Italian food again. Our friend’s recommended Vinny’s and it didn’t miss one bit. Authentic, delicious, and amazing service from the staff. Can’t wait to come back!

I ate at Vinny's as a teenager when it first opened. Having been raised by a Sicilian father that made sauces and food from scratch, it was the best Italian food I'd ever experienced at a restaurant! I moved to another state shortly after, but always remembered it fondly and wanted to visit again. 22 years later, I was in the area and finally got the opportunity.. after a long drive, my daughter and I arrived just 30 minutes before closing, yet were still warmly welcomed and seated by Vinny. He and everyone on the waitstaff is wonderful and attentive, the atmosphere inviting, the food just as delicious as I remembered, if not more so! This review is heavily summarized and could easily be pages long, but I will simply say that despite currently living 3 hours away, we will come back EVERY chance we get! This is the real deal- authentic cuisine, shared with you by genuine, amazing people with a true passion for it. Try it once and it will be a favorite forever! ❤

Love this restaurant, it’s a beautiful hidden gem! The warm sourdough, the house made Caesar dressing was delicious! Love family owned establishments and Vinny himself came out and shook hands and asked names and how everything was. I didn’t love my entree but he said all the sauces were made from scratch and if I ask, he’ll leave out the flour rue from my white wine sauce with capers (which should be standard, it was more like a gravy which I didn’t want) I’ll definitely be back to try a few more things…thank you for a great overall experience!
