HUGE portions, great food and good service. Shared the lemonade and the pot roast with fries + chicken noodle soup, with my wife. It was delectable and very filling even after being shared.
A friend tried a burger which was the size of a football. Most of my friends who ordered a plate took leftovers for dinner.
Would love to stop by this place the next time we are traveling by this town.
We've never had a bad experience at any Black bear diner. We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Nevada. Food and service was awesome 👌 my wife wanted a new road companion for our camping trips in our travel trailer. So we had to take lil' max home with us. I would highly recommend this establishment.
Tried the country fried steak eggs Benedict and wow loved the flavor. The country potato’s needed some extra flavor (pepper and salt) but I would recommend giving it a try. The service was a little slow but being a Sunday and busy I think they where just fine :) loved the experience and has turned me on to coming back and trying more food :)
I had a Shasta scramble w/toast & fruit. Yummy! My daughter and granddaughter had chicken fried steak hash browns with biscuits. The biscuits were like huge slices of cake and had the same texture. Supper soft, fluffy and cakey. If you put frosting on them wouldn't know the difference. They don't season anything and for some this might be a problem but the salt & pepper are on the table. I think the gravy was good (seasoned) and my scramble was delicious without any seasoning. Service was good and fast from order to delivery.
It was delicious. loved all the Bears. I pray we get to come back soon. Here from Tennessee. We loved it
