Best sushi in southern oregon! Fresh ingredients we had the oregon roll and a tuna roll both were out of this world with flavor and the crab and fish were fresh and delicious the waiter was very freindly and joked around with us we will definitely be back soon for more!
Honestly you get your money's worth for your sushi. Great job with some great rolls! 5 rolls for around $60 for 3 people just trying 3 of the normal rolls, a moderate one, and a premium roll. Definitely will be back to try more. Very friendly and attentive staff there, the sushi chefs put out a solid good product too
So first time there went with my 2 kids sister and mom for her birthday. And we had the best time the waiter was very funny and talked to us almost the whole time. He made the kids laugh and made us feel important. The food was amazing everything came out fast and everyone enjoyed the food. Definitely coming back.
Niko is surprisingly one of the best Sushi experiences u can have here in grants pass. The restaurant is fairly new, but has already built up quite a fan reputation. The atmosphere is smaller, but quite pleasant, with modern Japanese style furniture and decorations. The waiters and waitresses were all very kind and very friendly, and they got me my food fairly quickly. The sushi is definitely something else. From the fish to the rice and sauces, it's very flavorful and worth the cost. I only gave a 4 star as the last time I was there the cucumber in 2 different rolls I ordered was extremely sour, but was still ripe and healthy. Otherwise, I have no other complaints. 8.5 out of 10 definitely recommend!
My wife told me there was a new sushi restaurant that just opened. So we decided to go try it, and what a surprise it’s sushi chef “Jimmy” and his family.
They used to own the sushi restaurant in Brooking and before that the old sushi place in Cave Junction. My wife used to work for him in CJ, and she used to make me drive to Brooking just to eat Jimmy’s sushi…
We got the best welcome from Jimmy and family, very friendly and pleasant.
We ordered some jalapeño poppers and pot stickers for appetizer.
My picky son had fries and chicken nuggets.
We ordered the Kaleidoscope, Volcano and Caterpillar sushi rolls. And also some Indonesian rendang, which they didn’t have at their restaurant in Brookings
Everything was delicious.
It’s always been a great experience eating at Jimmy’s . We will be going there once a week from now on.
