“If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, look no further. The lodge and its cabins are secluded in the woods and the sunrises, sunsets and nightskies are gorgeous. The cabins are big and beautiful and their patios add so much to the charm. The restaurant at the lodge serves delicious quality food. They offer horseback riding on the cattle ranch which was a dream come true for me. This place is magical.”

“Jess is the best! I ordered a sugar-free chocolate buttercream birthday cake by phone from Arizona. Everyone in Lakeview said it was the best tasting cake they've tasted of this type and even the boys whose birthdays it was for said so which says a lot. The old-fashioned scroll decorating on the cake was perfect and hardly anyone does it anymore but Jess knows how. Make sure to support and enjoy this local business' offerings because Jess and her staff are top notch and so is everything they make. It's important to note that no other bakery in Lakeview was able to make this cake according to our specific needs except this excellent bakery and Jess who did an outstanding job on it!”

“By far one of the best taco shops in all of Oregon. The gals that run it are extremely nice, quick to make your food full of flavor. Prices are extremely reasonable, you can easily get full with $10 spent. One catch though is they only take cash for payments. Luckily they are conveniently located across the street from a bank with an ATM.”

“My wife and I wanted to split the steak dinner. We both got a small salad and on the plate with the steak there was a baked potato. This was extraordinary to get this much food for a half of a dinner. Food was very good and fresh. Went back the next day and split a double bacon burger. While we were there, one family arrived in a two horse wagon and another arrived in a massive massive RV motor coach. The experience of being there was worth it. The food was great, Amy was our waitress and she was awesome! Everyone there was nice, even Jaime the owner was showing us how to rope. The restaurant has good food at good prices, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are the best part: recently renovated, with great beds and an overall clean and spacious feeling.
