Chapala Mexican Restaurant

It was ok. We got stuffed in a corner....not a pleasant location. The food was lacking flavor and my dish was so hot that my husband was half finished eating before I could even begin to eat.
Not worth the drive.
Won't bother returning.

The food was great!!! Our waiter was AMAZING! I love someone with a sense of humor!!! Also it was REALLY GREAT that you could actually taste the booze in the margaritas!!! Good mixer too!

Pretty decent overall. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested, and had a nice char flavor from the fire. Beans and rice were good. Salsa was a little odd... needs more texture, but had a decent flavor. One of our plates came with a "taco" that neither of us could quite understand, and that was impossible to eat (like a taco) because the whole thing was soaked in red sauce. I got some of my partner's chicken enchilada suiza as a leftover next day and it seemed fine... maybe add a little bit of sour cream in the sauce before the tomatillo goes on.

We're still checking out the Mexican food scene here, and this place is a candidate for us returning... just not for the "taco."

Good fresh Mexican food. Fast, friendly and good prices. Favor was great. Less salty than most Mexican restaurant. Beautiful flavors in there dishes.

First time patron. We were seated quickly. Staff is proficient and friendly. Complimentary chips and salsa served. The salsa is the very best I've tasted in a long time! Ordered steak fajitas...thin steak skirt with sliced onions n peppers, sides of guac, sour cream, rice n beans. All tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly. Large serving size, so I had leftovers. Best Mexican Restaurant in Eugene. I will definitely return and bring friends!
