its HOT OUT. !!! Ron's Tropical Island Grill, located in Market of Choice Plaza on 29th Street is super cool. Literally when it's 90° outside it's the air conditioning inside feels amazing Quick Service. I highly recommend the barbecue tofu plate and a side of coleslaw. That's my favorite although all their dishes taste amazing. The tofu is firm and has a good texture to it which is important to me as I do not eat meat. Parking can be a little tricky so try and pick what time that not everyone is going to show up like lunch and right after work try and hit it just before the lunch rush or just after and you should be fine. Pacific island food. Not necessarily authentic to what I had when I lived in Hawaii but it does it justice. I had the Luke's Lava plate and asked for it to be spicy but not flaming hot. They did it perfectly. Flavorful with an island style that was both filling and satisfying to the taste buds. A regular serving will satisfy a hungry man and maybe even have some leftovers. The sweet potato fries were excellent and did not need any condiments. Well worth a visit.
