Govinda's Vegetarian Buffet

Great Indian style buffet. The options available all pair well together. I love the salad bar, the produce is always fresh and they have great house made dressings. Delicious plant-based dinner option.

Vegan/vegetarian buffet OR price per pound option. If they're not stocked on an option just wait a bit for them to cook up more! I barely ever have space for fresh breads because of how many plates I fill up on. They have a rewards program, senior/student discounts, and the staff is friendly + busy

Really good and tasty. Would be cool to have a bigger spread and more variety. Still great for not cooking it yourself.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars tems from the atmosphere. It's small and a bit funky. Let me begin by saying that I was a bit skeptical about the restaurant. It posts a sign saying, "We are 100% vegan." I don't like cumin found in many Indian dishes. I was, however, pleasantly surprised . The salad bar was interesting and varied. The main dishes with a couple of exceptions did not have the dreaded cumin. The roasted veggies were very good as was the shepherds pie. The featured curry was a coconut curry and was very tasty over the brown rice. I will definitely return.

The BEST Restaurant and Buffet in the country let alone Eugene. I could eat here every day and would never tire of their wonderful food. I always walk out feeling either stuffed or satiated and full of life from the pure energy of their vegetarian cuisine. David and the wonderful staff have continually blown my socks off with their varied and consistent offerings for the last 4 years. I look forward to continue being a patron even once I depart this dear town. PS I highly recommend their chai tea
