Tio Pepe Mexican Restaurant

It is funny that when you ask locals in the Eugene area where one would get good Mexican food, you are met often with shrugged shoulders and no opinions. It is obvious that these folks have never been to Tio Pepe's in Eugene. Great menu with amazing prices. A nice variety of items and even some very unique dishes. Everything we had was incredible. Easily the best chicken taco that I ever had with a homemade tortilla and a charbroiled flavour that made it pop. Service was attentive and very friendly. This is our new go-to spot for Mexican food when we are in the area.

My husband loves their steak fajitas and the carrots and onions and peppers that come with the chips. My dinner was vegetarian green tamales filled with cheese and green peppers couldn't find the cheese couldn't find the green peppers and the tamales were sweet and Soggy it was not a good meal for me won't do that again!

Delicious food. I especially recommend the flan for dessert. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Reasonable prices.

Really great staff. Good food. Relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Went in after a long stressful day needing to recharge a little. Seated in a booth even though I was alone. My waiter later helped me cash out up front and checked in with me, asking me if I felt better. Apparently he had noticed my earlier low mood. No pressure to vacate as soon as I had finished eating. I was able to eat slowly and enjoy the atmosphere.
