I had a most extraordinary experience with a young clerk named Levi. I asked him to make a sandwich for a woman friend who had just come from a cancer clinic and was waiting in the car. He spent time on her request but when I paid he said, “please give her these gloves (wool duck gloves).” He said his Dad was diagnosed with cancer and his treatment left him cold all the time. He said he had bought these gloves for his dad, but they were too small. I was literally humbled by this unexpected act of kindness as was my friend. Levi is a rare human in this world and his act of kindness deserves recognition and honor.

Best subway experience I’ve ever had. I brought my two kids in with me and the guy working was so nice! He was patient and super helpful. He even gave my son a mechanical pencil out of his hat to do his homework. The food was great too. Prepared with care and not rushed.
