The food was delicious at Yabai Nikkei. The ramen was prepared excellently, served hot, and my wife enjoyed it thoroughly. I’m excited to get my own ramen next time. My pork sandwich was extremely tasty, and very tender. I’m can’t wait to have it again.
Yabai is now serving ramen every day! Our family had a great meal here recently. We always enjoy the Oregon Wine Lab and the Da Nang food cart that was at the Lab for so many years. Yabai is a great food cart to fill in. The ramen has a lot of different things that can be added so you can get a different flavor every time if you want. The ramen can also be made vegan! So, SO, good! I had the Fried Tofu Sando, the perfect winter sandwich. I don’t normally think of sandwiches as a winter staple, but the bread was so soft and savory, and the tofu was warm, fluffy and tasty. The addition of winter squash was unexpected, but incredible, and then raw onions added a great crunch! Super filling, and it had a couple pickled veggies on the side, very yummy and refreshing. I can’t wait to come here every week after rock climbing! Unfortunately I couldn’t find them on Yelp, which is my go to when looking for new restaurants, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place :)

I dream of the pork donburi on a regular basis and am always conflicted when I see other tempting specials.
I’ve been back multiple times since having my first dish here. I think it’s delicious food. The owner has been at the food cart every time I’ve been preparing and serving. From my experience he is passionate about his work and cares how the food taste. It’s delicious!
