Literally the best steak I've ever eaten. Cooked to absolute perfection. I went with my friend, his wife, and his daughter. They didn't have a kids menu but they were very accommodating. They ended up bringing her buttered noodles, which were actually amazing as well. Also, the owner/chef would come out from the back and personally greet regulars. He even said hello to us. That type of extra cordial greeting is huge in my book. Absolute top notch restaurant.
We had the most phenomenal experience at Dueling Spoons, Fine Food!
Perfection is all I can say!
For our 1st time experiencing Dueling Spoons, our table of 4 was excited to feast and try many different dishes on the menu. 2 delicious bottles of pinot noir, 3 mouth watering appetizers, the house greens that has the most flavorful roasted vegetable vinaigrette, homemade wheaten bread and 4 glorious entrees later... we were blown away with everything that was presented to our table! Every single dish was beautifully plated and the flavors were so bold and incredible. It is a true fact when they say that you want to pick up your plate and drink the broth after your done! I loved Kathleen's expression when we asked to order yet another entree "for dessert" so we could try the braised lamb shank after all 4 of us kept goose necking the dish being presented to other tables around us. Insanely fall off the bone delicious!
Chef Billy and his family has definitely gifted our community with this top notch jewel of a resturant to come and enjoy! I'm was so amazed how the building itself has been beautifully transformed into a warm, cozy and relaxing environment to enjoy. The service is the most outstanding! Very friendly, down to earth and they made us feel like we were a part of the family. Chef Billy came and visited our table to check on how we were enjoying our feast which was a very nice touch as well.
Thank you so much Dueling Spoon family! Congratulations to you on being such a huge success. Bravo! We will be back very soon!
My husband & I finally made it to Dueling Spoons over the weekend and wow! The food and service were both 5 star. The relaxed atmosphere gave costumers a chance to ask questions and the family was happy to chat about all aspects of the restaurant. This family is doing everything right and it’s up to us as a community to help them succeed. I know we will be back again and again. Looking forward to trying brunch.
5 star dining in Fall Creek just outside of Springfield. I’ve been a professional chef for over a decade and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY with how amazing the food and service is here. Their French onion soup is practically famous on all the local facebook groups, so when me and my family happened to be in the area today we just had to try it.
The Chef greeted us at the door and lets us know that they had sold out of quite a few menu items. We actually like to hear this because it means everything is fresh! We asked if he still had the French onion soup and were delighted when he said he did! The chef also custom made us each an entree since a lot of ingredients were sold out for the day. We were beyond impressed by his hospitality and willingness to accommodate us. Every dish that came to the table was incredible tasting, beautifully presented, and artfully prepared. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail. The way the chef layers, and pairs together all the different textures and flavors is just remarkable!
We absolutely loved chatting with the Chef and his family who also work there. They truly treated us like family. This isn’t just a place to have a meal this is an experience as well! We cannot wait to come back!
I was there on the very first night, their soft opening, and everything was excellent. We were seated promptly and treated like old friends; the food was very tasty and plated beautifully. I especially like the menu; nice enough to be a fancy meal, with food cooked imaginatively, but also basic enough at heart to make it easy for anyone to find something they like - two pastas, two chicken dishes, two steaks, two fish dishes - of course including salmon (this is Oregon!). The difficulty was in choosing.
