Bridgewater Fish House and Zebra Bar

We've been here a few times and the staff are always so kind and patient, even with how busy they can get! Food is good and decently priced. I only wish they had more vegetarian options, but the items they had for me were yummy.

We had great bar service with Mandy. Clam chowder and fish & chips were good menu items. Not inexpensive but we enjoyed it and would go back again. Nice atmosphere

We have generally had good food and service the last couple of times we've been here. The burgers are really good - homemade buns and quality hamburger. The clam chowder is heavy on potato and bacon flavor. I wouldn't call it clam chowder at all. The staff is friendly and attentive. Biggest issue: Before we go out, we peruse menus on line. Unfortunately, Bridgewater has not updated their dishes or prices since before COVID. I chose this place based on being able to get sweet potato fries (a treat!) and they no longer serve them. The meals were a couple of dollars more than what is posted on the web. *One other "small" thing..... the red onions they put on the salads are VERY strong and hot, chopped into small pieces. (This is easily remedied by soaking them in milk during prep. It would upgrade the meal substantially, as the onion dominates.)

In our continuing adventure to find favorite restaurants in Florence, we popped into the Bridgewater one evening and enjoyed it so much that we've been back four times in the past few weeks and plan to make it one of our regular go-tos.

The atmosphere is comfortable, the food pretty good (albeit a little inconsistent), the service great. The bartenders give a generous pour and it's nice to just hang out, watch some sports, have a nibble, and relax.

The clam chowder is the best clam chowder I have ever had. It was so good, I almost cried. And I absolutely loved the flaky, crisp, juicy fish and chips, especially the halibut. Will definitely go back.
