Georgie's Beachside Grill

This was a beautiful classy restaurant right on the ocean with great views. The staff was friendly, fast and attentive, absolutely great service. For me, it was the food that really sold it, delicious. Too good in fact, for me to be bothered to stop long enough for a picture.
I will definitely be back.

The most amazing people work here super nice, friendly, attentive, welcoming and the cooks cook your meals with such love, when they bring the plate to your table you are impressed @ how scrumptious, fancy & tasty it is. I want to thank their Management for hiring Omar & Melissa! Ever since pandemic hit, I have not experienced this top level of customer service anywhere like from Melissa! That lady deserves a raise! Really good people work there! It is rare now days to experience caring & friendly customer service, we had Omar for our breakfast there & we had Melissa for our dinner there! They greeted us with such warm welcome, it feels so good when people acknowledge you & treat you with respect. People will return to do more business because of workers like Omar & Melissa! When we complimented how fancy & tasty our meal plates looked they were quick to compliment their Cooks & that their Cooks take pride in cooking with love & you can truly sense that! Thank you so much Omar & Melissa for treating us with the Best Customer Service! It is truly appreciated! By the way the window seat had such breathtaking views of the ocean it just added to an overall amazing experience! Once again, please accept heartfelt gratitude for such wonderful over the top customer service! Will be back! I highly recommend this place!

I have not reviewed this place in quite a few years, but since they've redecorated it not only looks fabulous, but the food seems to taste better, if that was even possible. I'm very happy with this restaurant. They, without a doubt, have the best chicken fried steak anywhere on the west coast of the United states! I know it's quite a bold statement, but I don't feel I'm risking anything here. You really need to try the chicken fried steak. Along with their Thundermuck coffee, which is also the best ever.

Even the water they give you when you're seated is fantastic! All the food here is fantastic. The wait staff here, fantastic! The food prices here, fantastic! If I had to pick one word to describe this place, it would be, ... "exemplary". (You thought I was going to say fantastic, didn't you?)

Seriously, this is the place you want to go if you're visiting the Oregon coast, particularly Newport. You will never find any restaurant with this type of an ocean view that serves food this good with a wait staff this excellent, at these prices. I challenge anybody to find a better place on the ocean!

Been eating here the last twelve years, we stay at the Hallmark Resort, and eat at the finest restaurant in Newport, Georgie's!

That's, breakfast and dinner, 12 years, 3 visits a year, 3 days each = at least 96 great meals!

We ordered for to go, they are currently closed for dine in due to remodeling!
For me the crab cakes were my favorite, they had a great buttery taste to them. The zucchini appetizer didn't disappoint, you were given huge pieces of zucchini. It is really nice when everything is done in house this includes the onion rings, they were not your run of the mill ones! The halibut and calamari were tasty I do like more of a batter on mine but none the less I would order these again. Customer Service is great!
