BlondZee's Guest House Restaurant & Lounge

We had not eaten here for about 5 years. It was as great ad ever! It was bought by one of the waitresses who only improved on the home cooked meals. They use their own recipes not prepared food and it's very good. Chicken fried steak that's too big for the plate, hashbrowns from mashed potatoes, real homemade gravy, top notch in my book. My wife could only eat about 1/4 of what she got. Prices are reasonable. We both ate for less than $30. A 12 oz. Rib Eye was on the menu for about $22. The atmosphere is nice with a car based theme and the staff were great!

I like coming here for breakfast. Had dinner here and was disappointed. Whoever is buying the beef stop with the cheap thin cuts of Ribeye. I’ll pay more for a better cut. It was almost too thin to even cook properly. Ended up with a chewy piece of beef that was over priced.

Breakfast though, has always been great.

The lounge is so cozy. The food is huge and delicious. The bartenders are very friendly and fun. I especially like the dumb names they give the jello shots.

I (From out of town) have been to BlondZee's three times now, and each time the food was great. The wait staff was vert pleasant and fast. The coffee in my cup never dipped below halfway. I had the Chef Salad last visit and it was full of everything you expect in the meat and cheese department... This is my spot to chow down (Wide load) when traveling through Salem.

The service was kind, the food was pretty good, and the atmosphere was amazing. So glad we didn't go to the original place we had intended. I ordered the Hearty Chicken Fried Steak and my boyfriend order the Hearty meal! So good! I wasn't able to finish my whole meal, so took the rest to go.
