Great cafe and bar.
Excellent healthy options that can be ordered vegan, vegetarian, or meaty.
We've only tried the bowls so far, and they're quite yummy.
They come on a bed of brown rice and quinoa, and include ingredients such as sweet potato, pumpkin seeds, avocado, spinach, kale, and a number if others.
I recommend getting the fried egg on top.
As far as I'm aware this place has very little competition in Salem for the style of food and recipe options.

Wandering through Salem after dark, first time in the city. Late enough that choices had become quite limited. Happened by Taproom. "This looks pretty good". Wow. Artsy students crowd. Very interesting. Original art on the walls and the booths (!) Food was well above average. And if, when you go to heaven and have to tell St Peter that you didn't eat a Taproom taco when you had the chance, he'll likely say "What on earth were you thinking?"

Great locally owned bar. They have quite a few original vegan dishes. Most of their menu is a creative take on classic dishes. They often have live music. They have a coffee and tea bar, an alcohol bar, shuffleboard, a full kitchen and dining area or just a hang out area in the way back. Something for everyone. If I had anything negative to say it would be that it can be really loud in there. The building has weird acoustics I think.

Great atmosphere, employee's. Serving great food- ordered the grilled chicken breast salad. Fresh Tasty. Eating healthy never tasted so good.

The wait staff is fabulously friendly and well knowledgeable in the food and preparation of food. This place is safe for me and my allergies, and that fact alone makes me excited to return! I didn't order anything big this first time, but it was delicious food! They use sunflower oil for their fried foods, which is a plus for me. It's a cozy place with wonderful visual aesthetics.
