    I’ve driven by this place many times and finally tried it on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a takeout meal and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. My order consisted of BBQ pork, pot stickers, broccoli chicken, and their crispy gourmet noodles (with BBQ pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp). I will definitely order another takeout meal from China Gourmet the next time I’m heading home from work and hungry for Chinese.

    Best Chinese in Salem. This unassuming place had the best food in town. As soon as you order you can hear the cook working the wok and in a few minutes you will be tasting the best Chinese to touch your lips.

    Food was good, but not the best you can find. For the price and the portion size , you are definitely getting your money's worth. I enjoyed it. A small, cozy place with a very friendly staff. I'll visit again.
