Staff are great and the program serves a great purpose. This week, I bought some great crafts for Halloween - definitely worth your time.
Airy, uncomplicated, with a friendly, down-to-earth staff, this is a casual place to meet for coffee, or do quiet laptop work, and not too fussy, so kids felt welcome. The Chipotle Philly Cheese-Steak Wrap Special was yummy for kids and adults, but the grilled cheese sandwiches were unexceptional, I could make better at home. I had hot tea, Stash, not a fancy selection, just the basics, the honey was crystalized BUT: prices were do-able for a family lunch treat. There are locally grown apples, locally made wood and metal crafts, and plant starts. Proceeds go to a great cause. We'll go again, maybe try the soup and coffee next time. Nice thing is you can sip your coffee whilst perusing the Display Garden nearby tended by Salem Master Gardeners.
Nice staff, quiet place with a great purpose. Farm fresh veggies and a simple menu that often utilizes instant heat methods, but fits the bill! In house wifi is acceptable, and plenty of 110v outlets for charging.
The building is made of rustic barn wood. Prices are good. The coffee is good. The prices are good. The business helps train students in the juvenile detention center.
This is a quick spot for a break or lunch close to my office. It provides an alternative location for meetings and has a drive through if speed is necessary. Or it's raining!
I like the idea of supporting Marion County in their youth program, so it's a win win.
