Josey's Restaurant

We eat here a several times a month, but will probably stop going here and go back to The Ritz Diner. Food here is good enough and portions are ample...but seating is very uncomfortable. Tables are placed too close together so you bump whoever is sitting behind you, and booth seats sink in when you sit in them. Waitress (Carol?) isn't very friendly anymore. I wouldn't say she's rude...but she doesn't ever smile and seems annoyed all the time. These are not good reasons to lose good customers.

The food is great. Best customer service! Always packed, so bring your patience. It's worth waiting for.

I live close to Josey's, and I try to go every so often. It's usually busy but the staff is attentive to each table as best as they can be! Usually everyone is greeted when they walk in. It's a sit down where you want type place and within a minute or so you get a menu and asked what you want to drink. I usually get breakfast and take some home with me for the next day. Portions are large and they're happy to give you a to go box. I haven't had a bad dish yet

Whenever I think about going out for breakfast, Ritz Diner and this place are always the first places on my mind. Like others have mentioned, the waitress is on top of everything and seems to juggle more than humanly possible. The food has always been great. It's what a traditional American breakfast should be. Often times the portion sizes, especially those dishes over $10 or so, seem to be one and a half times a meal size for me so I end up taking it home or feeling stuffed. But there are lighter options. Overall an enjoyable American breakfast experience.
