This is my favorite restaurant in Salem for breakfast. They are simply unmatched in quality and service. The food is all homemade with high quality ingredients. Their portions are huge. And they often come to your table with free samples. The restaurant is small but cozy and quaint with a 'must visit' women's restroom. Because of this, there are often long wait times. While it's always worth the wait, I would suggest "take out" if you don't want to wait. It's always great. I can"t recommend this place highly enough.
Update: I miss them so much!! They have been closed due to Covid restrictions. I would give anything for Creme Brûlée French Toast or Filet Mignon Chicken Fried Steak right now. Please know you’re missed!!

Well what can I say... If you want a meal made from scratch and is probably the best breakfast in Salem you need to come here. Well worth the wait.
Cinnamon roll pancakes? Oh! Yes! At first glance you might think you can't possible finish this pancake that is the size of a dinner plate, but with the help of your friends, you will do just fine! The menu has a great variety of breakfast and lunch items. This place has such wonderful food in a quaint old home.
The service is fantastic as well. It is cute, little house on a semi busy street and the parking is, well, pretty much non-existent. You will have to park on one of residential side streets. But, again, it is so worth it. It's even worth a parking ticket in my opinion! lol. The problem with reviews is everyone has their own opinion of what is good, tasty, excellent etc.
My go-to order is the Plate-O-Love, which is a really amazing corned beef hash (not like other corned beef hash, I can tell you) or prime rib hash or their veggie hash, with the Creme Brûlée french toast. It comes with eggs or a fresh, delicious fruit cup, too. Wish they would open, even if just for take-out.) amazing
